How to match a card list entry to your variant
Start with the set or promotional product, open its card list, then follow the card name to its detail page. Compare the printed number and treatment with the separate price rows. A shared card name does not make a Standard, Hyperspace or promo printing the same collectible.
The set tables count distinct cards separately from their collectible versions. A top-card price may refer to a higher-priced treatment rather than the regular copy you hold. Open the card page and match the exact row before using a market figure as a reference.
- Standard and Foil: regular-bordered and foil treatments where that product includes them. Availability varies by release; do not assume every newer card has a normal-bordered foil.
- Hyperspace: an extended-art treatment. Hyperspace and Hyperspace Foil are separate versions, so use the corresponding row rather than a different finish with the same name.
- Showcase: a distinct alternate-art treatment. Check the actual product entry and printed details instead of identifying it from the character name alone.
- Prestige and Serialized: additional treatments found in specific products. Serialized copies carry individual numbering; that numbering alone does not establish a market value or guarantee a sale price.
Treatments and product contents change between expansions. The publisher’s explanation of variant changes describes why normal-bordered foils are absent from some newer products. Use the selected set’s entries and the official card gallery to cross-check a printing.
Displayed prices are market references, not active seller offers or inventory. Condition, language and the exact printing can change a comparison.
